Shula’s Steak House Naples Appoints New Sous ChefIn News
NAPLES, Fla. – January 10, 2017 – Shula’s Steak House inside the Hilton Naples today announced Nelson Rosado as its new sous chef.
Rosado brings 28 years of culinary experience to Shula’s Naples, serving as sous chef, executive chef and executive sous chef in premier restaurants and hotels in Puerto Rico and St. Thomas Virgin Islands.
“Shula’s Naples is fortunate to have such a talented and seasoned professional chef join our team,” said Tom Donahue, Shula’s Steak House Naples general manager. “We are confident that our already award-winning fare and service will be even more creative and pleasing to our guests.”
Previously Rosado served as executive sous chef of the Sugarbay Hotel Resort and Spa in the Virgin Islands. Prior to that, he held positions in Puerto Rico at the Caribe Hilton San Juan, Gran Melia Golf Club Beach Resort, Westin Rio Mar Resort & Golf Club and two Wyndham properties.
He attended the University of El Sagrado Corazon Puerto Rico and is certified by the American Culinary Institute. A former member of the Puerto Rico National Culinary Team, Rosado is an active member and 13-time medalist of the American Culinary Federation.
